Dominic Vignola

Dominic Vignola began his professional art studies with noted Chicago portrait painter Joseph Allworthy, followed by further study in New York at the National Academy of Design with Nelson Shanks, the Art Students League with Daniel Smith, and the Reilly League of Artists. In 1985 and 1987 he studied and painted in Rome, Florence, Venice, and Madrid. His artwork and writings have appeared American Artist, Getting Started in Art, and The Artist’s Magazine. In 2002, he was elected to the Board of Directors for the Oil Painters of America.
