Sean Dye

Sean Dye is an award winning multi-media artist who received his MFA from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. He teaches painting at the University of Vermont and conducts popular workshops throughout North America. His work has appeared in The Artist’s Magazine, Pastel Artist International, International Artist, and the Pastel Journal. He is a member of Pastel Society of America and Vermont Pastel Society (founder) and has judged several important exhibitions. His work is displayed in many private and corporate collections as well as commercial galleries. Sean is the author of two books: The Mixed-Media Sourcebook and Painting with Water Soluble Oils. His first instructional video, Palette Knife Landscapes was released in 2005. His work also appears in North Light’s new book Painting the Elements: Weather Effects in Oil, Acrylic, and Watercolor.
