24 NEW CONCEPT COLORS

To meet exacting standards of color theory, the colors have been segregated and arranged within the primary red, yellow and blue groups. The basic colors have been augmented compatibly by the earthen and green groups necessary to accurately reproduce the images of the world around us. Now Holbein has added 24 new colors, each conceptually intended to enhance the Artist's ability to improve the results achieved for specific subject matter.

Holbein recognizes that each Artist develops a preference for certain colors which become an individual and preferred palette for most subject matter. The new colors are notable for their light fast and physical permanence, individually and in mixture. They offer exceptional chroma levels and outstanding brush handling qualities on high quality watercolor papers.
